It is Purified Water that has been treated to reduce the content of dissolved gases (USP 1-Dec-2023) by suitable means, such as, but not restricted to, (USP 1-Dec-2023) by boiling vigorously for 5 min and cooling or by application of ultrasonic vibration.
Dissolution medium: Where deaerated water is used as dissolution medium, it is recommended to deaerate it using the procedure described under Dissolution Medium in Dissolution 〈711〉.
