Derived from the human strain of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and available either as a solution or as a lyophilized powder. For lyophilized powder, reconstitute according to the manufacturer's instructions using the diluent provided by the manufacturer. Solutions may contain a stabilizer and a preservative. One Tuberculin Unit (TU) is equivalent to 0.02 μg of Tuberculin PPD.
