—Dissolve 25 g of potassium hydroxide in 35 mL of water, and 50 g of sodium hydrosulfite in 250 mL of water. When the test solution is required, mix 40 mL of the hydroxide solution with the 250 mL of the hydrosulfite solution. Prepare this solution fresh.
