H(OCH2CH2)nOH in which the average value of n is 4 average molecular weight 200 CAS RN®: 25322-68-3.-Clear, colorless or
almost colorless, viscous, hygroscopic liquid. Very soluble in acetone and in alcohol; practically insoluble in ether and in fatty oils. Use a suitable grade.
REFRACTIVE INDEX (831): 1.4590 at 20°.
DENSITY: 1.127 at 25°.
VISCOSITY: 4.3 centistokes at 98.9°.
