1 Assay
Mobile phase: Prepare a mixture of isooctane and methyl-tert-butyl ether (88:12).
Procedure: Inject about 20 µL into a suitable liquid chromatograph (see Chromatography (621)) equipped with a 230-nm detector and a 4.6-mm x 15-cm column that contains packing L3. The flow rate is about 2 mL per minute. The area of the C8H5NO2 peak is not less than 99% of the total peak area.
