Slightly soluble in water; soluble in alcohol, in ether, and in dilute acids. Preserve in well-closed containers, protected from light. [Caution - Avoid contact with o-tolidine and mixtures containing o-tolidine, and conduct all tests in a well-ventilated fume hood.]
Use a suitable grade with a content of NLT 98.0%.
