—Dissolve 4.78 g of nickel(II) sulfate heptahydrate in water, and dilute with water to 1000 mL. Immediately prior to use, dilute 10.0 mL of the solution so obtained with water to 1000 mL. Suitable nickel standard solutions are also available commercially.
