(Dipicrylamine), C12H5N7O12 439.21 CAS RN: 131-73-7.—Yellow-gold powder or prisms. Explosive. Usually contains about 15% of water as a safety precaution. Insoluble in water, in alcohol, in acetone, and in ether; soluble in glacial acetic acid and in alkalies.
