(Petroleum Benzin; Petroleum Ether, Ligroin) CAS RN: 8032-32-4.—Clear, volatile liquid. Practically insoluble in water; soluble in absolute alcohol. Miscible with ether, with chloroform, with benzene, and with most fixed and volatile oils.

Use ACS reagent grade Petroleum Ether.
