Samples: Standard solution and Sample solution
Calculate the percentage of dopamine hydrochloride (C8H11NO2 · HCl) in the portion of Dopamine Hydrochloride taken:
Result = (ru /rs ) × (Cs /Cu ) × 100
ru = peak response of dopamine from the Sample solution
rs = peak response of dopamine from the Standard solution
Cs = concentration of USP Dopamine Hydrochloride RS in the Standard solution (mg/mL)
Cu = concentration of Dopamine Hydrochloride in the Sample solution (mg/mL) (USP 1-Aug-2022)
Acceptance criteria: 98.0%–102.0% on the dried basis
