Assay
Mobile phase: Prepare a mixture of acetonitrile and water (52:48).
Procedure: Inject about 20 µL into a suitable liquid chromatograph (see Chromatography (621)) equipped with a 230-nm detector and a 4.6-mm x 15-cm column that contains packing L1. The flow rate is about 2.0 mL per minute. The area of the C14H18O4 peak is not less than 99% of the total peak area.
REFRACTIVE INDEX (831): between 1.495 and 1.499 at 20°.
