—Carefully mix 10 mL of water and 10 mL of sulfuric acid, and cool. To the mixture, contained in a glass-stoppered flask, add 2 g of 2,4- dinitrophenylhydrazine, and shake until dissolved. To the solution add 35 mL of water, mix, cool, and filter.
