(3′,3′′,5′,5′′-Tetrabromophenolsulfonphthalein), C19H10Br4O5S—669.96—Pinkish crystals. Insoluble in water; soluble in alcohol and in solutions of alkali hydroxides. Transition interval: from pH 3.0 to 4.6. Color change: from yellow to blue.
