-Dissolve 1.5 g of cupric sulfate and 6.0 g of potassium sodium tartrate in 500 mL of water in a 1000-mL volumetric flask. Add 300 mL of carbonate-free sodium hydroxide solution (1 in 10), dilute with carbonate-free sodium hydroxide solution (1 in 10) to 1000 mL, and mix.
