(Aminoguanidine Hydrogen Carbonate), CH6N4 · H2CO3 136.11 CAS RN: 2582-30-1.—White powder.
Assay: Dissolve about 34 mg, accurately weighed, in 50 mL of glacial acetic acid. Titrate with 0.1 N perchloric acid VS, determining the endpoint potentiometrically. Perform a blank determination, and make any necessary corrections. Each mL of 0.1 N perchloric acid is equivalent to 13.61 mg of CH6N4 · H2CO3. Not less than 98.5% is found.
Melting Point 〈741〉: about 170°, with decomposition.
